Shipping Policy 


Thank you for visiting and shopping at Don Vassie . The following information sets out the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

What is the latest advice from Australia Post?

Australia Post and Star Track are experiencing delays with deliveries due to reduced staffing in depots and an increase in freight moving through the depots. Our delivery calculator has been adjusted to accommodate delays, however, please keep in mind that these are estimates only and there could be further delays to certain areas. For more information regarding the latest Australia Post updates, please check here.

We will not be able to refund the cost of Express Delivery if there are delays. Most Express Deliveries will arrive on the next business day, however some will take two or three days longer. Please keep this in mind when placing your order. In regards to the latest updates on Express Post guarantee, read more here.

Also, for more information in regards to COVID-19, please refer to the Australian Department of Health, Health Direct and the World Health Organisation (WHO) official websites.

  1. Processing your Order: An email confirmation is sent to your e-mail address after placing your order. Please keep this e-mail as proof of your purchase.

  2. Shipment Processing Time: Processing time refers to the time it takes for us to prepare your order for shipping. After your payment is authorised and verified, all orders are processed within the same business day. We will contact you for some reason if there are any delays.

Our Main Delivery Partner is Australia Post, However we may use Different couriers to provide the most competitive rates for Delivery to your postcode .

 

Please note the couriers may experience delays at this time due to backlogs at depots, so please allow 1-2 extra days for some orders .

3.1. Domestic and International : Booze&Barrels Investment Pty Ltd ships all over Australia and New Zealand at this time.

3.2. Shipping Restrictions: Our company does ship to both commercial and domestic addresses. Customers can have their products shipped to a P.O box. 

  1. Shipment rates and delivery estimates

 We will attempt to get your order to you as soon as possible. Once your order is placed, an estimated delivery time will be provided to you. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipment, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed. Weather delays and other unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery time. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfil your order.

(i) Business day means Monday to Friday, except holidays.

(ii)  Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

(iii) Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery           location, method of delivery, and the items ordered.              

(iv) Products may be delivered in separate shipments.

(v)  When placing your order, we consider these factors when calculating the Estimated Delivery Date:

(A)  Transit Time: The amount of time it takes your order to leave our distribution centre and arrive at the local delivery carrier.

(B)  Weight factor: Shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and the delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your cart, and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges will be displayed.

(vi) Due to Lockdown and Pandemic, packages to and from our facility in Canberra, ACT may be delayed. We appreciate your patience during this time. 

(vii) We will not be responsible for the wrong shipping address if you provide incorrect information.

  1. Tracking Options: Booze&Barrels Investment Pty Ltd aims to provide visibility and transparency throughout the shipment process. Once your order is confirmed and shipped, you will receive a link to track your package.

5.1. Domestic

All orders delivered within Australia automatically have tracking.

  1. Damages

 If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, contact us immediately at sales@boozebarrels.com.

  1. Missing or Lost Package

There are several reasons why a package gets lost or becomes a deliver exception. We’ve found that, more often than not, the package is either in the building or with a neighbour. Booze&Barrels Investment Pty Ltd politely requests that customers look in common courier hiding spots. Please take a look around and let us know if you find it. If you haven't located your order, please contact us at sales@boozebarrels.com to report missing or lost packages.

    9. Special Delivery Instructions

Please state in the Delivery Instructions on the check-out page if the household at the address is in isolation due to COVID-19. 

  • The special delivery instructions field on the checkout page is for specific instructions for the courier that are printed on the label (e.g. deliver to the second floor and leave with reception, leave behind the pot plant near the front door).
  • Requests for delivery at a specific time of day will be printed on the label for the courier to see however cannot be guaranteed.
  • Our couriers are unable to call or text recipients prior to delivery, to confirm an address, or upon an unsuccessful delivery.

To return your product, you should mail your product to:

If an item is defective or damaged ,please do not worry and send email to sales@boozebarrels.com and we will replace the parts immediately .

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.


If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
